Meet Erica Ng, DACM, L.Ac

Acupuncturist & Chinese MEdicine Herbalist/ TCM Doctor

I am committed to supporting and guiding my patients throughout their journey towards wellness. By offering the necessary care and support, my mission is to empower them to attain a state of harmony, both physically and emotionally. I strive to create an atmosphere where healing is not just about treatment but a holistic approach aimed at promoting overall well-being.

My journey in this medicine began when I sought acupuncture for an injury that resulted in chronic lower back pain and sciatica. This condition affected me for three years, making it difficult to walk, sleep, and exercise comfortably, leading me to rely regularly on over-the-counter pain medication. After my first acupuncture session, I had immediate results and felt 90% better. Following my positive first acupuncture experience, I sought acupuncture for my chronic migraines and irregular menstrual cycles all of which has been addressed positively. This medicine has taught me that healing is not just working on the physical level, but also paying attention to what’s going on internally. I believe in treating the body as a whole and seeing food as medicine.

I have performed thousands of acupuncture treatments (9,000+) over the years in various clinical settings (private practice, hospital, and community). During this time, I've had the opportunity to assist patients of all ages dealing with various issues from pain syndromes to emotional disorders.

In my free time, I like to cook, create TCM food content, jog, and spend time with my friends & family.

Testimonials

I went in for recurring bacteria infections and IBS. Since our first session I have noticed a huge improvement in my overall health and especially IBS flare ups. She really listened to all of my needs and issues and figured out how to address each one. She’s been giving me tips for digestion (certain foods to avoid and what will help) and how to manage my periods each month as well which have made a HUGE difference for me day to day. She even introduced me to chinese herbs that I’ve been loving and will continue to use daily. I highly recommend going to see her for any issue that you can’t figure out or need help addressing. I always feel relaxed and comfortable during our sessions.

Dr. Ng was my first ever acupuncturist! I have been seeing her since 2020. She listens to everything I have to share about my conditions and lets me know exactly what to expect during the process. During my first treatment, I was nervous about all the needles but the professionalism, friendliness and great bedside manner I received from Dr. Ng put me to ease. She always checks in during the treatments to make sure I'm doing ok and she is very patient - she takes the time to answer all my questions. She is truly dedicated to helping you and will work with you to resolve/ease your conditions. I always walk out feeling great after every session! I highly recommend Dr. Ng!

Hands down the best acupuncturist I have had! Dr. Ng truly listens to your concerns and customized your treatment. I’ve had chronic back tension as a dentist, along with gut imbalance among other problems and always leave my sessions feeling significant relief. Dr. Ng has also provided me herbal supplements which have improved several symptoms I’ve voiced concern about. To top it all off, she has the gentlest touch! I can’t recommend her highly enough.
